Do they keep the ferrets in the petstore window?? I sure hope that the
sun isn't shining on them! I don't think that it's even allowed to keep
animals in the windows of petstores here in Sweden.
 
I'm a member of the Swedish Ferret Society and we're trying to stop the
selling of ferrets in petstores, or at least reduce it. But it's
difficult because the owners and the big breeder wants to make fast money.
If you buy a ferret because you feel sorry for it when it's sitting in a
small cage, they will only get new ones... One way to stop the selling
of ferrets in petstores is to persuade the owners that it's just as bad
to sell ferrets as cats and dogs in petstores. Another way is that nobody
is buying the ferrets. That way they will soon stop getting new ferrets.
