Welcome from Florida:
I am new to the ferret area. I have aquired two ferrets from a local pet
store here in Fort Myers. I have named on Tenchi and the other is named
Makoto (funny, it must be true being a Japanese anime lover you really do
name your pets Japanese names without thinking.) Here's my problem. I have
constructed a cage for my two kids (yes kids since I don't have any human
ones and they act just like two children) and they love to toss their food
around the cage. I have a solid floor on the bottom of the cage and I am
changing that this weekend to a wire bottom for easier cleaning. I bought
them a side J hook feeder and all they do is toss the food out of it now.
Any suggestions??? I really don't have a clue on how to solve them of this
before I change the bottom. Please email any suggestions on the subject (or
any tips for a new parent)
