Dooks All ~!

Just a few reminders about the Pacific NW Ferret Show coming to Canby,
Oregon on June 15. If you haven't already registered, please do so
quickly. Time is fast approaching. Please remember, a specialty class
(Albino, DEW, Shelter/Rescue, etc) may be eliminated if there are not
enough entrants.

VACCINATIONS - WRITTEN proof of Fervac-D or Purevax Distemper vaccines
AND Imrab-3 Rabies vaccine are required.

ADV TESTING - WRITTEN proof of ADV testing with United Vaccines CIEP Test
ONLY. Testing must be between 12/01/01 and 6/02/02.

For those interested - Testing is available at The Oregon Ferret Shelter
$10.00 first ferret, $8.00 each additional (plus overnight shipping and
handling fee). The results will be mailed DIRECTLY to you to maintain
your confidentiality. Please call for appointment. 503-557-8369

OTHER ANIMALS - All other pets NOT participating will not be allowed in
the show

VENDORS - Well, we had to get a larger building to accomodate all the
vendors so far. More are always welcome. Deadlines for vendors
(shelters, rescues, etc) is June 1, 2002.

More information, vendors packets, registration packets, etc are
available for download at http://www.PACIFICNWFERRETSHOW.CJB.NET
We can also be reached at [log in to unmask]
or by phone at 503-557-8369

For those who are not familiar with what the judges may look for, Lisa
Leidig has written a wonderful article entitled SHOWING YOUR FERRET. I
can email one (Word format) to you if you wish. <sorry - lost the URL>

For those traveling with your animals - a word of caution. The weather
here can range from the sublime to the extreme. It can be 80degrees on
the road, pouring rain/hail in some areas, and still snowing in the
mountains. There is a wonderful, informative article by Debi Christy
(Ferrets First) called TRAVELING WHILE FUZZY. I would strongly urge road
travelers read this. Find it at
www.geocities.com/ferretsfirst/traveling.html
