Our shelter has been communicating with a ferret owner in Washington State
who urgently needs to relocate to San Diego, CA.  She has 7 ferrets which
she refuses to leave behind (she is one of the founders of a ferret shelter
in her area), and is seeking a foster home in San Diego where she may
continue to visit and care for her ferrets until she is able to bring
them home.  She will be living with her mother temporarily and there is
the problem.  Her mother is not unfriendly toward the ferrets, but has
chichuahuas and is concerned that they will bark constantly at the ferrets.
This very nice and knowledgeable ferret owner will help with other ferrets
at the foster home as well and appeals to anyone who can help.  She must be
in San Diego by the first of April.  She is also seeking information on the
