Folks,

Lets remember a bit of ferret history...

This fitch for sale (yes that is the proper term for a fur from mustela
putorius or mustela furo or also for one of those raised for fur) is
nothing new. There is also a very good chance this is an OLD fur.
Possibly from the 1940s. Possibly off of an old coat.

Fitch is a very cheap fur. They were seen as a poor person's mink at one
point. Fitch is low quality so there will not be a sudden interest in
fitch fur over a sale on ebay. This is not the first one there either.

If you don't like it, don't bid. The price will stay low and no one will
get bright ideas about fitch making a comeback. With fur in general still
in decline a rush to start farming fitch is unlikely.

This one sale on eBay is hardly worth the electrons spent in discussing it
in the grand scheme of things. We certainly do not support violating the
rights of others to sell perfectly legal items. We certainly do not
advocating ruining eBay by setting a precedent for disrupting sales of
items someone doesn't like. Should Republicans prevent sales of Kenndy
campaign buttons? Vegetarians prevent sales of meat grinders? Bad idea.
