Hello, I just recently joined this list & hope somebody can help me. My
ferret Sammy is one-year old. He was very sick, we almost lost him. He
is without a spleen & an adrenal gland, but he's starting to gain back his
weight & strength. However, I noticed the other day that he's started
panting sometimes. I can't find any information on what causes a ferret to
pant, I know he's not running a fever, vet check him yesterday. I want to
know if anyone out there has any information for me.

Is he panting because of pain?
Thanks
Peggy & Sammy :)
