I did some surfing for info on plants poisonous to pets.  Here are a few
links.  Keep in mind these are plants known to be poisonous to humans or
(in most links) dogs/cats.

This link has a list of poisonous plants as well as a list of plants that
are SUPPOSEDLY safe.  (I did notice that it lists Aloe as safe, which is
listed as poisonous on other lists.  So I'd do some double-checking first!)

My own experience with herbal medicine in humans is that even things which
are safe can be very dangerous in large quantities--and a large quantity,
for a ferret, wouldn't be all that much.
