This is in response to Laura Ellis' question on a good 100% cotton hammock.
 
As long as you have a wire condo, I suggest just taking an old cotton
T-shirt and tying the ends up.  It works really well, is completely washable
and "free" (once you're done with the shirt), and the ferrets really enjoy
both sleeping on it and in in!  (they go through the neck).  This has worked
extremely well for us and our two 4 lb boys and 2 girls all fit happily in
it.

P.S.  We also live in an apartment and had no problems convincing the
landlord to let us have fuzzies.  Keep searching... :)
