adrenal surgery sucess rate

My experience has been terrible.  One surgery, one ferret at the
bridge. :-(  My vet told me that he'd done 8 surgery's and all 8 had
lived.  My baby was the 9th.  She came through the surgery fine, but got
cold afterward and I just couldn't get her warm enough again.  I don't
know how old she was, because she was a rescue.  The vet said 3-4 years
and the local shelter (who saw her after she died) said closer to seven.
