As someone who lost a precious darling two weeks ago to a ruptured bowel, I
suggest they may want to look around for a blockage.  If the ferret is
otherwise strong enough to survive the surgery, I would do it.  If I had
caught it earlier, my baby might still be with me.  Now I suppose I'm super
concerned when I see the vomiting and some diarreah.  I'll be thinking of
your little one and hope things go well.
