We have a Moulinex and it does an excellent job on the whole chicken.  We
first chop up the chicken into more manageable pieces.  Legs and wings
usually do not have to be further cut down.  We do two runs... one on
large grind and then run it through again on fine grind.  It works very
well.  Once the mix is cooked and all the ingredients are in, we run it
one last time through the food processor before pouring into ice cube
trays.  Coffee grinders work very well for grinding down the dry kibble.
 
It used to take us 3 hours from start to finish.  Now we have it down to
a science at just over an hour.
