Dear Mary-Ann,

The "Ferry Shake n Bake"! I LOVE THAT!!! What fun!!

We play "Popcorn Weasels" I toss them up and down on a big blanket and
yell "Pop, Pop" or sing "Pop Goes the Weasel" Weird, but they love it and
get so excited! We also like to play "Weasel Slip and Slide" They love
to be slid across the linoleum floor and can't get enough! Accompanied by
me singing loudly (off key of course) "Slip sliding away" A lot of our
games have silly songs and rhymes that go along with them. Strange, huh?
They also have a huge rice box and a million and one tunnels and toys,
though Momma is by far the best toy!

I have a old terry cloth mat that I used to lay out on in the sun. It's
now theirs. It rolls up and they love to scratch and dig in the tunnel it
makes. And then I unroll it, and it's a brand new toy!

I also have a cat toy I bought at Petsmart, it's a large plastic circle
that has jingle balls on the outside in a track to roll them around. It
also has corrugated cardboard center that they love to scratch at. I
also have a old foot stool with a piece of heavy duty utility carpet
attached on the top and they love to climb & dig on that. They really
don't dig at the room carpet that much, but occasionally they still will.

I did have to cover my new box spring with a large out door heavy duty
tarp I bought at Home Depot. I used a stable gun on the bottom and then
covered it with two extra large fitted sheets on each side. The bed lays
directly on the floor. The old one was trashed, they dug it up so badly,
but it really was time for a new one anyway. Now with this new set-up,
it's been at least 8 months and we have had no problems so far.

Ferrets will be ferrets!!!! Silly little buggers!
