Due to the lagging economy, ferret surrenders to shelters continue to
increase. Private donations are down, but surrender calls are steady,
making it harder by the day for many shelters to hang on. Sometimes
assistance with a vet bill is all a shelter needs to make it through a
tough time. Support our Shelters helps shelters and shelter ferrets all
across the nation by donating money to veterinary bills and/or sending
kibble. And you can be part of that -- just by purchasing raffle
tickets. Yup, it's that easy -- buy a ticket, help save a life! On its
