Hi Christine, I'll just bet you have several answers by now <G> I did not
respond because I have no idea what might cause what you describe.  Can
you call your vet, perhaps he has some thoughts, or if he/she thinks it's
something that needs to be seen.  My friend accidentally cut a nail too
short not long ago.  It did not bleed then and she didn't even know she
clipped too close.  The next day the end of the nail had a *ball* of
dried blood on the end.  It was natures way of stopping the little bit
of bleeding that occurred later.  That's the extent of my toenail
*knowledge*.  Please do keep us advised of what you find out, if
anything.
