Hi All:

I mainly lurk but now I have a question.

I have a 6-7 year old female named Taffy. She has just gotten surgery for
a large lump in her abdomen. Luckily it was not cancer but a hematoma.
The vet said that she looked good inside except for this tumor and some
discoloring of the adrenal gland. She received 2 antibiotic shots
post-surgery in case of infection.

Now the question, is there some food or diet we can do to help the adrenal
glands? I don't want her to get the disease or would like to delay it. :-)

Taffy is not showing any signs of adrenal tumor, no hair loss. She has
always been the quiet one, plays and roams with the others then goes back
to bed. So, a decrease in activity would not be really noticed. She is
eating and drinking. We have hand fed her the kibble to be sure the last
few days post-op.

Thanks for any help,
Dave
