in responce to steve's post... aren't ferrets considered domestic animals?
then i wouldn't refer to them as "predators" unless they've been trained
to be.  your ferrets would be considered predators because they've been
trained to hunt them.  (HOW you've done that when i can't get mine to come
to his name is beyond me!) i don't know about you, but my ferret doesn't
have an instictively predacious bone in his body when it comes to dogs,
cats, or any other species.  i think it depends on the ferret and the
rabbit.  i've posted anonymously because so many people jump down other
peoples throats and it's just my opinion.
