Well, it took me about half an hour with Tia to realize that chemotherapy is
the only way to go ... I just can't justify letting this fuzzy guy die.
Even in his somewhat fragile condition, his little albino self found the
energy to carefully groom both himself and me :)
 
I'm curious to know how other shelters handle these kind of monetary
emergencies ... do you hold fundraisers?  And what kind?  We are willing and
ready to put a lot of effort into raising funds locally to do everything we
can, and we'd like your input.  Anybody have any good fund raising
suggestions that can raise a significant amount of cash in a short period of
time?
 
We have always been financially able to eek out the funds for our rescues,
but Tia has gone way beyond affordable <grin>.  I know the local ferret
community will do there best to contribute to any kind of fundraiser we
have, but its gotta be a good one.  Suggestions??
