Well, my 1st.  sighting was at the Eastern State Expo in West Springfield,
there was a couple who had a leather sack over their shoulder, when all of
a sudden these two heads popped out of it.  I had an idea as to what they
were, but at the time they were illegal in the state...I was sooo amazed
with them.  and ( Of course the movie Beast Master).
 
"Why ferrets"... I've had cats, dogs, rats, snakes....The local pet store
had some and once I picked one up, I couldn't put him down and I knew if I
didn't do it right then and there...I probably wouldn't have done it ( and
thats my story and I'm sticking to it...hehe)
