The two middle letters in life are IF.  It is not the what if this or
what if that, which matters.  The only thing that matters is the ferret's
best interest was the basis.
 
There is an age old saying, "What man proposes, God disposes."
 
You can what if yourself from now to eternity.  Please don't.  You did
what your heart told you was best for the little one.  That is why the
God put man above all creatures in the Garden of Paradise.  He knows
they will be the best stewarts of His creation.
 
Another saying, please take to heart.
 
Relax let go.  Let God take care of it.
