I'm not sure what everyone is paying for ferret cages, but I've bought
three nice cages off of a local (western pa) guy for what I think is
really good prices.

I custom ordered these but he would make pretty much anything you wanted.
This first one I had built so that it would fit into the side door of my
caravan. It is galvanized metal with black coated wire floors. Three and
a half feet high, two feet deep and three feet wide, three 14" levels,
three doors for $50.00. Once this cage is loaded with ferrets and their
accessories, this cage requires a two person lift.

These other two I had built so that (hopefully) once they are loaded with
ferrets and their accessories I can pick them up and put them into my van
without needing help. They are all black coated wire, 36" high, 18" deep
and 36" wide, two 18" levels, two doors for $35.00 each.

With all of these cages I can close off the levels so that I have two or
three cages within the one cage. You know . . . for the rare occasion
that certain ferrets don't get along:)

The ones that he makes for some pet stores in Pittsburgh are four feet
high, two feet wide and two feet deep with three levels and balconies.
The pet stores mark them up 200% from what they pay for them. If anyone
is interested e-mail me and I can contact him or give you his number.
