Non moveable litter box

I'm a little late responding - catching up on email and all.  Our local
shelter has a trick that I thought I'd pass along.
 
She drills holes in one litter box and permanantly wires it to the cage.
Then she drops another litter box - same size - inside it.  This way she
can quickly remove the top litter box to clean it and the litter box
doesn't move for ferrets that feel they have to re-arrange the "furniture".
