A new vet will soon be setting up shop about half an hours drive from me.
He's recently come back to NZ from England, where he has trained as a vet
for 6 years, and is *very* knowledgable about ferrets. He has also had a
lot of experience with preforming operations.

Since ferrets are still a fairly uncommon pet, most vets are either fairly
ignorant about, or downright anti, ferrets. So it's great to have a new
vet coming in who is skilled in that area, and isn't full of the idiotic
propaganda going around here atm.

For NZers - The vet is setting up in Lower Hutt, Wellington. If you'd like
to know about this guy, just email me and I'll get back to you as soon as I
find out more about when/where/etc.

- Reet
