Well, I guess I'm getting in trouble again. Two shelters willing to help
said they were just too far away to go get her. Gina in NJ wants to help -
maybe they can hook up. * I * feel terribly guilty for not rescuing her
myself and then watching others scramble around trying to do what I
could'n't do.

Ok, here's my questions: 1) IF the ferret IS in heat, how long could she
live without treatment? 2) IF the ferret is NOT in heat but has adrenal
disease, how long could she live without treatment? When is it "too late?"
I can't return to the Poconos til late September - more than a month since I
saw her. If I could get her then, would there be any point? Someone please
answer - thanks.
