A Tribute to Kodo the Ferret <RB>
 
Kodo, I never knew you,
But I know you were a brave ferret.
 
Asking for so little, but giving so much to so many.
Not harming a soul, but suffering for something that wasn't your fault.
Wanting to give only joy to people, but not getting anything in return.
We call ourselves human, but treat innocent furry creatures with no
respect.
Can we choose life for the next ferret that faces the injustice that Kodo
faced?
Will compassion and knowledge take precedence over fear and uninformed
judgements?
