Hi all,

I think I might have left out some important information last night.
First, I am not a horrible ferret mom. I called the vet at home
immediately after the injury occurred. Yes, we are that familiar. He
asked me several questions over the phone, and told me that because she
was walking and eating, she should be watched carefully overnight. In
the morning, I took her straightaway to the office, where she made an
amazing "miraculous" recovery, greeting puppies and vet techs alike.
An emergency more pressing kept the vet away a little longer, and gave
me an opportunity to watch her closer. Although I do not believe her
unharmed, I believe that the injuries are minimal. He watched her and
examined her, and said that aside from favoring a front limb, which I
didn't notice, she appeared healthy and likely just bruised or
sprained. She doesn't flinch or scream when I touch her anywhere, is
eating and drinking normally, and even ran through the tunnel with her
brothers tonight, albeit a little more slowly. I think we are lucky
that she came through this okay.

Thank you all for your advice, and for keeping her in your thoughts.
Please continue to do so until she is definitely fine, but I think
we're on the road to recovery.

Thanks again,
Sara and Miss Munch
