Based on what I have been seeing and hearing, I think I can safely say
this message is on behalf of all rescue shelters.

We always see a lot of people saying "gee I wish I could help"... well you
CAN! I know (speaking for myself and most likely all other shelters) we
can use help in ways you may not have thought of.

So you can't adopt another fuzzie right now? There is still lot's you
CAN do.

We can always use foster homes, volunteers to help clean cages and
administer meds, volunteers to pick up rescues or make runs to the vets,
donations of food, litter, supplies, cages, blankets, toys, hammocks...
ANYTHING!

Cash donations to go towards vet/food/supply bills. Many of us have
accounts set up where you can make your donation directly to the vets
office.

Many of us can even use help screening potential new parents. You know, if
every person who see's this post sent $5 or $10 or a small box of supplies
to a shelter or volunteered 2 hours to a shelter... that would do so much
good for so many ferrets!

I know all of us shelters are having a "peak" period right now that is
crazy.... so please, stop *wishing* you can help, and contact a shelter
to find out how you can!
