Hi Everyone
 
I am from Oz and new to the list, though I was on this list about 7years
or more ago.  I joined on Sunday and nearly dropped out on Monday after
reading how strongly one person felt about young children and ferrets.  I
thought perhaps I was not doing the right thing as I am looking to adopt
a stray but I have two children a 2 1/2 year old and almost 5 year old.
But after reading Shannon's reply I feel a little more confident about my
decision to adopt a stray when one becomes available.  I will be
supervising mine with the ferret when it comes along.
 
At the moment in Sydney there are very few strays available so I might be
waiting a while but that is ok I have the cage already setup .
