Hello

I went to the vet's today to get a printout of Angel's blood test results,
they faxed them to me yesterday but I could hardly read them.

My vet said that the results say that it could be the heart, a muscle
injury or the liver. He said she's slightly anaemic but that her body is
producing new blood. I asked again how much blood there was in the ascites
and my vet said the ascites was only slightly lighter than the blood he
took. So there was a lot of blood in the ascites. I'm hoping Angel just
injured her liver and that the liver is going to heal itself. She still
doesn't act sick, is more lively than a few days ago. I gave her Whiskas
cat milk twice a day and started giving her a teaspoon full of thick double
cream a day because she's a bit skinny. But now a German vet told me not
to give her the cat milk or cream because it's "tough" (can't find a better
expression) on the liver. She also said I should ask my vet for a special
cat food that has been made for cats with liver/ kidney problems. And that
my vet should continue the antibiotic treatment for now, she said she can't
understand why Angel got one antibiotic injection and not more. And she
mentioned cortisone (I think), would that benefit Angel? We were thinking/
hoping that Angel has an inflamed liver.

Anyway, I'll give you the blood test results now:
