Hello, fellow ferret friends!

Does anyone know about the kitten food called ANF (Advanced Nutrition
Formula)? It is sold in the grocery store, is a little cheaper than Iams
and the like, and it has about the same fat and protien levels. However, it
contains ambiguous "by-products" and I think the first ingredient listed is
"corn meal". Does anyone know more about the contents of this food? Is it
suitible to feed to ferrets? How about mixed in with his higher quality
chow? I am asking because he prefers the shape of the kibble (round like a
tiny donut) to the triangular or pebble-shaped kibble.

RATS- Can anyone out there give me hope? I am about to get a pet rat or
two. Is it at all possible to make a rat and ferret get along? At least
well enough so that if the rats make the great escape, I won't come home and
find them dead? (No I don't, and won't cage the ferret. Cage if you wanna
cage, but keep it off my wave;-)) Seymour is a very laid-back ferret.

Thank you for any help, advice or info!
