Someone wrote a few weeks back asking FML'ers if they had tried a diet
called Archetype by Wysong. I was impressed by the ingredient list and
fat and protein levels that this poster had included in their email so I
did a bit of checking on my own. Although I found a store here (Alberta,
Canada) that carry's the Wysong brand they did not have this particular
diet but did offer to call the distributor to see if it could be ordered.
Well, I nearly fell out of my chair when they called me yesterday with
their findings. I must admit that this definitely sounds like a good
diet. It's specifically formulated for carnivores and like the former
poster mentioned it has very high protein (58%) and fat (28%) levels and
the first 7 ingredients are meat products.. The downside is the price.
Are you ready for this........if they were to order it (from the US) a
7 1/2 oz bag (that's less than 1/2 pound) would cost $30. Yikes!
Despite this I still think I'd like to at least try the stuff to see
how the ferrets would take to it.

To the person who originally posted....could you please let me know if
you got any response from anyone who has actually used this product????
