Someone suggested an mIRC channel for ferret discussion.  I have just now
created one on DalNET called #Ferrets_Cage.  To join the discussion chat
room, load a version of mIRC and launch it.  Choose any US DalNET server.
In the box, type /j #Ferrets_Cage and you will join the channel..  You can
also add it to your channels list to make it easier to just clik in.
 
As time goes on, I will appoint OPs and SOPs (Channel Operators and Super
Operators) to keep the channel in line with the topic and friendly chat.
 
Ruled in this channel are simple.  Ask questions, general discussion of
ferrets and get to know one another in a non threatening and friendly
family atmosphere.  No swearing, no Bots, and no sex chat here.  Treat
others with respect.  This is not an Adult channel, but is not intended
for children to hang out in either.  Is for Grow Up people.  As time goes
on, we will all get to know one another and trade tube dog stories, carpet
shark attack survival adventures, and fuzzy warmth.

My nick there is Rabid_Clam (don't ask... sheesh!)  I am the only op, the
founder of the channel.  Other ops need to earn the title by demonstrating
mature judgment and people skills.  Have fun and spread the word.
