I always wondered about that, my little girl Boo-Boo does it too.  Just like
she is trying to pull meat off a bone, she clamps down and shakes her head
from side to side, and it is RIGHT in the soft crook of the arm.  Mine gets
even weirder.  Only MEN.  She only does it to MEN.  Not to me, or any of my
girlfriends, just my hubby and other guys who come over.  How can she tell
the difference between men and women I've always wondered?  Scent?
 
Good to see ferrets portrayed as normal pets on "48 hours" the other night.
Was disappointed with "Americas Funniest Home videos" last night however.
Dumb show anyway - don't really watch it, but my hubby called me in because
they had two fert videos on, sent in by people across the country.  The two
videos were featured in the "rodent" category first of all...(little do they
know) with the opening bit showing the host (what the hell is that guys
name?) with a huge rubber rat on a dinner plate as he introduced the videos.
Then the obligatory mouse chasing cat video, then a fert "scared" by a fish
in an aquarium...I'm saying "OK, that one's cute..." then the very next
video, is a girl holding up a ferret to her face, and guess what happens?
The fert takes a big chunk out of the girls nose, and she shrieks in pain.
HA!  I thought it was America FUNNIEST home videos!  Pretty funny stuff!
BIG help to the cause, I tell ya...
 
C'mon California...I want to take my babies for walks outside already.  I
want to take my babies to other places besides the vet!  Jeanne, we've
written the letters - anything else we can do?  Do you need more of us to
show up in Sac?  You know my real identity if you need me...
