My fuzzgirls used to have the 8 in 1 Ultimate stuck periodically in the
roof of their mouth. The company said they changed the shape, but I'm
not sure. I haven't had it happen with the totally ferret.

You could probably put the kibble in a food processor (they have mini
simple ones for $!) and just do a quick couple of pulses to break up
the whole pieces a bit.
