Well, I'm a Californian, who happens to now live in CA.  Although I thought
ferrets were great a long time ago, when I also lived in CA, I didn't get
one, because I worried about their legality.
 
I now have ferrets in CA.  Why?  Easy.  I lived out of CA for a long time.
A good job offer brought me back.  Since I had ferrets that I'd had for a
long time, I didn't wish to abandon them.  I did seriously consider not
taking the job.
 
I will NOT get more ferrets while living here.  I don't think that is
responsible behaviour.  It's irresponsible enough to have even previous-
state-owned ferrets in the state until they are legal.
 
What I want is a good job offer out of CA. ;-)
