My husband and I have been buying the chairmats that go under office
chairs. We have been watching for the most popular areas to poop, and
then put a chair mat there. We still leave the litter box there. The
mats are very hard plastic and can't be moved by ferrets easily. (at
least not mine) It doesn't stop the pooping but makes cleanup SO much
easier. I buy my chair mats at costco for 13.00. Hope this helps.

Avery, Pebbles, & BamBam (ferrets), Ryker & Baby (cats), Peanut (the bird)

P.S. It also works great under litter boxes for cats and under bird cages
to catch the seeds!
