I believe I also was very disappointed when I switched from IAMS to Totally
Ferret because I got the odor problem back. BUT now they have been on it
over a month and they are back to smelling a-okay again, except the girls
are all totally in love with the "whole" boy and they pile on him for
naps - they come out smelling just like him. I think their system has to
adjust to the food and it evens out. I can take a whiff of the one who
slept on top of the pile, furtherest away from Dizzy, and she just has a
mild light little scent of her own, and I also noted when I wash their
towels and hammocks using Snuggle, they smell like that too. Nothing
effects Dizzy, he just bumbles his way around acting like Pepe Le Pu and
wrinkling human noses as he goes.

Give the TF at least a month and see if you don't think the odor has faded
(and its not just that you get used to it).
