I took my ferret Sanook outside yesterday for the first time.  He loved it!
I was a little nervous because every time he's been outside in the past
even though I have not let him down (Trips to the car and such) he has been
scared and shaking.  When I brought him outside and let him down (with a
leash) to look around he had a blast.  After we came back inside he was
bouncing of the walls he was so excited.
 
I would like to ask a question as well.  I believe when I got Sanook a
little less then a year ago he had ECE.  Ever since I have had him he has
ocasionally had mucousy poop.  Usually a yellow Mucous that is at one end
of the poop.  Is this some type of chronic condition.  Does ECE go away or
hang around for long periods of time?  What else could be causing this?
Could it be stress?
