In Issue 1586, Judi Lunn described how she got six-foot-hero cartons from a
deli to use as ferret toys. Two years ago I found several long, skinny
boxes when classrooms were renovated at the college where I teach.
Projection screens came in these boxes. When the screens were installed and
the boxes discarded, I grabbed several of them and took them home. Bill
made a ferret maze out of them by cutting some little doors in the sides and
putting the boxes side by side. After two years, the box maze is still a
popular toy-- amazing for ferrets! If you know of a school or college
building being constructed or renovated, try to get the projection screen
boxes.
