Hi everyone,

I need some advice from those who've been there. Chloe, always a finicky
eater, has gotten worse of late. We adopted another ferret in November and
she has gone off her food. (I should mention that they don't get along at
all, we were hoping things would get better, but they haven't.) When we
separate them (i.e., take Chloe to my apartment) she eats like a pig but as
soon as we put them in the same place, she picks at her food, or worse,
throws it around the cage.

I'm not sure what to do anymore. She's getting old (almost eight) and she
can't afford to not eat. Has anyome else had to deal with this and what did
you do? Any advice would be appreciated.

I should add that she will eat ferretvite (I had to force feed her a few
times and now she likes it just fine) and ferretone, but she is losing
weight.

Thanks for any and all help you can give me.

Judith
