Ferret Frolics, Fun Matches, Ferret Olympics - they are all the same.
Basically they are fun contests that people think up for ferrets to compete
in and win a ribbon or some such small prize. contests can include, but not
be limited to: darkest nose, longest tail, longest whisker, tube races,
paper bag escape, kissiest ferret, most yawns, ferret tricks, etc.

many small clubs hold these type of events once a year as fund raisers and
get togethers for club members and ferret fanciers. Large championship shows
which ferrets are judged on conformation, color and temperament and are
awarded points, ribbons and certificates, sometimes have fun contests to pass
the time while waiting for ferret's numbers to be called for judging.

I just posted the ferret event schedule, but a new date has been added -
the CT ferret show is May 20th.
