I like the FML the way it is. Put me down for this vote!

I would say your ferret IS suffering depression. They DO have long term
memory, and DO remember buddies and people QUITE WELL! Do you have a
possibility to find the person with the cagemate and visit? YES-your
friends visiting with their ferrets will help, she'll get to have new
'friends' and interact with them. I doubt it is fatal, I've had MANY
incidents here of loss, one just before legalization. I SEEM to be
suffering more long term 'depression' over Roxanne's passing than the
fuzzies, but I KNOW they are showing greiving.

On the GLFA-
I've receive MANY e-mails on the legalization here in MI. As of last
Sunday, the GLFA had a general membership meeting, and 'celebration'. There
were approx. 100 people present. I spoke with Micki Wingate, President of
the GLFA on the matter of a copy of the bill. I was advised that it has not
yet been available from the State govt. printing office. I have an
affiliation with Rose Smith of LOS, and Micki Wingate is aligned with FURO.
I have made NO attempt to hide my love for fuzzies, and my desire to not
'conflict my interests'. I have signed up to be a shelter/foster home here
in MI. I spoke extensively with Dr. Lawrenchuk at the meeting, and she
inquired of 'setting up a database'. I brought to her attention STAR, and
the work they do, and the asset to having us cross referenced there. I have
NO desire to be involved with politics, and I have NO personal gain I am
seeking. I am TRYING to help in MI with educating the public, and
betterment of lives of the fuzzies!! I have pet stores that I'm referring
to Micki (she's a USDA approved breeder here), as they are seeking good
kits, and Micki is looking to set up a 'package' with pet stores to include
a 'spay/neuter' plan with a local (to the pet store) vet, INCLUDED in the
purchase! As a side note, many who have went ABOVE and BEYOND the call of
duty to HELP US legalize, are looking for help with THEIR local problems,
and Micki has ALL the data to help, and believe me-help is on the way!
Please be patient!! We have a meeting with state people on what is required
for 'Shelters', and many things in the works. appears to not be concerned
with reciprocating the assistance given.

Anyone who has contacted me regarding info on our MI bill, this is WHY you
haven't gotten an answer! "I'm working on it!!"

Sincerely,
Paul and the now legal fuzzies in MI
