Well I got word from the vet when I went to pick up Maggie from having
tests, At first when they aspirated her spleen they found no cancer cells
but after running a CBC they found har calcium rating was through the roof.
That is indicative of a carsinoma. I got to bring her home and will begin
the regimine of feeding and getting her potassium level up. We are giving
pred and after a lengthy talk with Gary(sigh, i am going to hate my long
distance bill) I ordered several bottles of Timmy's Tonic. I will try
anything as long as she is not in pain. She is just so weak. The poor
little thing still tries to get to the litter box anf if she does make it
she is to weak to make it into her blankie. She sleeps right next to my
bed so I hear her when she attempts to get into the litter box and when she
is through I can put her back in her blankie. Her box is right next to her
blankie so she does not have far to go. She just drags her hind legs and
does not even offer resistance when i feed her. As I told Felony's mom, I
will fight the good fight, even when they can't fight for themselves until
they let me know it is time. I think we all have that sence when you
trully know your companion.

Any way, I know that this is long so all I will ask is for lots of healing
prayers for my Maggie. If she does not get better I know that Roxie will
be there to help her to the bridge and let her know that we will be fine.

Hug all your fur children a little closer and be Thankful...
