I know, I know. Everyone is tired of my soapbox. But you know, this name
calling is getting old. Way, way old people.

I love Modern Ferret. I love Eric and Mary (even though I have not met
them "up close and personal." I don't have an article up for publication,
but I love them!

Not everyone will, and that is there right. Ah, the joys of living in a
free and diverse community.

Now for the problem. Why, why, why, why, why the HELL must people resort
to name-calling to get their points across? We've lost many good people
because of it. Hotdish left, along with many others, for just this stuff.

And guess what folks? Hotdish didn't agree with one of MY posts (actually
what I wrote responding to theirs..........since I don't know if hotdish
is he or she......). But we had differing opinions. And we didn't call
names. I will miss Hotdish. I didn't agree with them, but I will miss
them.

Now for the purpose. Censorship of any form is evil. No disagreements
there. But, saying you won't help ferret people any more because of a few,
now that's extreme and labeling, in my opinion. Stereotyping. And you
can always find people to fit them, too. They are dangerous. And more
dangerous when a "name" uses them.

I like the saying "WWJD." It says a lot.

But just remember. Jesus also said, when he was hanging on the cross
"Forgive them Father for they know not what they do........"

I can forgive. But that doesn't mean I won't get torqued when people start
throwing mud in general directions.

Be kind people. That's not asking too much, is it?
