That definitely sounds like seasonal shedding to me...  It was my
understanding that adrenal hair loss most often starts at the *base*
of the tail/hip area. Hair loss on the tip of the tail is most likely
seasonal, or related to 'tail acne' (if accompanied by small black
spots on the skin).
