I have an idea that may help (and free too).  Get some rather large rocks
and put them on top of the dirt.  You'll still be able to water your plant
and as long as the rocks are big enough your little "angel" can't knock them
over, you should be just fine.  Now if only I had thought of that before I
got rid of all my plants!
