Dear Saraferret:

I am sending you a separate posting for our baby Star.....I know I
just posted wanting to know about Angel's arrival but now I am posting
another for our boy Star who left us early this morning. I never
mentioned that he was ill when I posted about Angel because it was
hard enough knowing that soon I would be doing one for him also. He
was our last fuzzy to leave us.....now we have no more and as hard as
a decision this is for myself and my husband we will not have
anymore.....their passing is just to hard to take and ours have had
pretty much the most common diseases in ferrets such as, insulinoma,
adrenal, lymphocarsoma(sp?), two unfortunate accidents and one who was
not ill at all, just collapsed and within three hours of collapsing
was gone, we think stroke or more likely heart attack which is what we
think happened. We have had altogether 16 fuzzies in our lives in the
past 13 years and we have had 14 at one time.

Star was fuzzy number 5 in our addition, he was a beautiful sable and
our most easy going, loveable and gentlest fuzzy, he never bit anyone
no matter what... he was just so gentle and sweet as can be...... he
gave kisses when he wanted to and wasn't to fussy on cuddling or
hugging but he got that any way when mom wanted it whether he liked it
or not. He got along with all our fuzzies...we had a few that didn't
get along so we've had as many as 3 separate cages at one time. He is
coming with his small stuffed snowman and his most favorite toy of all,
dad's old eyeglass case. It is so hard for me to write this especially
now that our last fuzzy has left us...we both have such very sad and
heavy hearts but I know that they are once again happy and whole, just
full of life..no more pain or suffering for any of our babies..they are
safe now and with the Lord...I can just picture them bouncing around
and getting into mischief. Please Saraferret could you be there to
greet him when he arrives and also round up all his brothers and
sisters Booger, Maxine, Maxi, Fritz, Pepper, Misty, Prince, Bear,
Buddy, Shark, Snowball, Lady, Princess, Max and Angel (if she has
arrived already)..he will have to be introduced to Booger because
she passed away before he came to us. Also, with everything that's
happened in the past 4 days, I forgot that Angel not only needed to
be introduced to Booger and Maxine but also to Maxi...he was also gone
by the time she came to our home. Please tell Star how sorry we are
and that we love him and miss him terribly..may you be at peace now
my sweet baby boy...another shining star in the sky tonight and
unfortunately the last for us...our home seems so quiet and empty
tonight..don't know if I can ever get use to that.

I will continue to receive and read the FML...I need that for a while.

Dear Sandee (if she still belongs to the FML), Saraferret and all
Bridge Greeters:

I know I probably haven't thanked you and I have read posts every now
and then from others who have posted a 'Thank You' to all of you here.
I wish to thank you all right now from the bottom of my heart for the
time that you take for all of us here at the FML to greet our precious
babies....it might not mean much to some but for myself and my husband
it always brought closure to us for each and every one of our fuzzies
who have left......the wonderful and beautiful greetings you have
written for each one of my babies means more to me than you can ever
imagine.

Hugs and kisses from Star's Mom and Dad
