Mineral Oil???

Just read on the Internet that you can use Mineral Oil to clean and
suffocate Ear Mites. Just wondering if anyone does this? And if so
are there any risks or side effects to using this. I normally use
Tresaderm, But if Mineral Oil works just as good..... Why Not?
