Hi All,

I'm having a big problem with my two ferrets. I recently got a 2nd ferret
(Molly) about 3 months ago who promptly broke her leg. I was told I'd need
to isolate her so I did. She had only been around my primary ferret (Maya)
on 3 occasions before the broken leg and they did not get along. Then
again when I got my Maya she and my then primary (Penny) had some problems
too. Anyway, Molly's leg healed up and it was time to reintroduce these
two about two weeks ago. Well after two weeks they still don't get along.

Currently they have separate cages for night time sleeping, but let them
out lose during the day. When Maya wakes up she scouts out the room and
try's to find Molly. Once she does she goes into domination roll and
clearly kicks some ferret mahone. Molly has taken to hiding in tubes while
Maya likes to reassert her control by going to sleep where ever she first
found Molly. I for one am sick of it. On top of it all Maya is deaf and
it is clear that neither Molly nor Maya have quite figured this out. Molly
is really quite scared of Maya and Maya is either in domination mode or in
the "lets just pay hard" mode every time she's around Molly. After two
full weeks of this I'm growing dishearten about their relationship. I will
not give either one up.

Thanks,

Jeff
