What do you bet the whole thing is a set up by the CA Fish and Game to cause
negitive publicity towards ferrets and use it as an excuse to keep them
illegal?
 
A club may not be held responsible for the actions of its members, thus FA
itsself cannot be sued.  Pat however might be in trouble.
