The McBear Ferretden Clan sat around their hearth enjoying the warmth
from the embers of the once crackling fire. The weather had been
frightful of late and their was an unrest in the land that they all
could feel.

Each clan member took a small bite of the cheweasel that they were
sharing before passing it on the the next member of the clan. About
that time a gust of cold air came through the door at the same time the
youngest of the clan, Rowdy McBear, came busting in.

Indeed, Rowdy McBear had brought lots of news concerning the situation
that was heating up between the Clan McFarlane, the Clan of the War
Weasels, the Clan of McFutzle, the Clan of McFerret and the Oracle.

Unknown to the young McBear the 'Sukie' had been evoked. They had heard
the legend but thought she was surely just a myth. Those stories were
used to scare the youngest clan members and had been passed down through
the years.

Of course, they knew the other clans and for some time had known that
the McFarlane Clan had many disagreements and had been warring amongst
themselves. Everyone knew of the Oracle and that she was one not to be
trifled with, especially if your clan was not in her good graces.

Just what part would the Clan McBear Ferretden play in this? That was
the question the McBear Clan was asking themselves and the answer was of
utmost importance.
